Why H11 Solutions?
It’s all about Faith.
2023 was a year of faith-filled leaps for me when it came to my business.
I have been a designer for commercial office interiors for close to 20 years and a travel advisor for nearly a decade. After much thought, worry, and prayer, in September of 2023 I took a huge leap of faith and left the design job where I’d worked as a designer/specification analyst for close to 10 years collectively. While being a travel advisor does provide a good portion of my income, the design job is also necessary to make ends meet.
I had nothing else lined up and put complete and total trust in the Lord to show me where He wanted me to go. Less than a week after giving my notice, a dear friend put me in touch with a furniture dealership in Charlotte in search of a designer. Fast forward a few weeks and I am the Director of Design for a commercial office interiors dealership in Charlotte, NC. I still get to work from home 95% of the time, and am able to create my own schedule and run things the way I’ve learned is best after nearly 20 years in the design industry. I also have the freedom to work and expand my travel business more than I could have before.
With this change, in looking at my travel business and starting to dabble in marketing for small businesses as well, I have been blessed to be able to form my own company! H11 Solutions, LLC is named for Hebrews Chapter 11, my favorite book in the Bible, which speaks about faith.
I am expanding my travel business to offer even more destinations, cruise lines, and SO MUCH MORE by switching my host agency to Cruises and Tours Unlimited, which offers a ton of agent support and allows me to run my travel business in the exact way that I know is best for both myself AND my clients.
All of this goodness has stemmed from me taking that total leap of faith and giving it all to God when I left my design job. He has blessed me professionally in ways I never imagined were possible until I gave it all to Him.
My prayer is that every time you see my logo with the "H11" in bold red, you are reminded of Hebrews Chapter 11. If you are struggling with anything – be it a health issue, a problem at your job, family issues, or otherwise – just give it to Him. I am living proof that amazing things can happen when you trust your future to the One who knows you best.
